She ran towards him and he lifted her in his arms just as the music started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“You’ve been my daughter in every way that matters. Blood doesn’t decide that,” he told her. “Will you dance the father-daughter dance with me?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guests stood up and applauded as they swayed together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
